How is my money used when I make a donation to Restless Development?

Your donations to Restless Development are essential in supporting the work we do globally to empower and support young people.

For every £1 you give 83p is spent directly on our work with young people.

The rest will support that vital work, invested in direct support to our programmes around the world, on fundraising and on governance.

What is your commitment to safeguarding?

Restless Development considers the welfare and protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults to be an organisational imperative with primacy over the success of programmes or strategic objectives. We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we expect all of our staff, volunteers and partners to ensure we protect the communities in which we operate from harm and abide by our Safeguarding Policy.

We have robust measures in place to ensure high standards of safeguarding across our organisation and activities and we work hard to prevent harm and abuse happening. All our staff are provided training in our safeguarding policy so that they can prevent, recognise, respond, record and report any matters which may cause harm to children, young people or vulnerable adults. We have a Global Head of Safeguarding and a lead Safeguarding Group including a Lead Safeguarding Officer in each of our hub locations. For more information see our safeguarding page.

Safeguarding concerns can be reported to a relevant member of staff or to a confidential email by following our whistleblowing procedure.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

If an error is made in the payment of your one-time donation or Direct Debit by Restless Development, or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society.
