Global Policy and Practice

inspiredRestless Development are the banner carrier for youth-led development, and this can be seen through our dynamic, youthful and sociable working culture. With 10 offices globally we form a 300 strong international workforce, all united by our passion and dedication that young people should be at the forefront of change and development.

no two days are the same

We are a campaigning organisation: our staff join our own, and partner organisations, campaigns in order to make lasting change in their communities. We are a volunteering organisation: our staff in South Africa take 67 minutes on Nelson Mandela Day to volunteer in their community. We are an advocacy organisation: our staff travel around the world to attend conferences and exhibitions to amplify the voices of young people.

When we're not working

Cricket Match
We have social and vibrant offices, and not just during working hours. Our London office play in a Charity Softball League; our Nepal and India offices play each other in an annual staff cricket match; and our Nepal team host yoga sessions for all staff before the working day begins.

We are proud to be an employer who recognises potential and invests in the development of our staff. We are committed to the professional development of our staff through:
- Empowering opportunities to work on significant projects which stretch and inspire staff – allowing them to develop on-the-job.
- Regular performance management, focussing on how you can grow in a personal and professional manner.
- Training and development opportunities, including supporting our staff to identify mentors both within and outside of the agency and an annual training allowance.
- Quarterly Staff Workshops for all staff to give and receive agency updates, receive training, and socialise.
