Mora leads Global Communications for Restless Development. Her professional journey of over 20 years bridges the media and NGO sectors. In news and current affairs at the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky, she worked across a range of foreign affairs and documentary films, winning commissions at Panorama and Newsnight with her journalistic research.
In senior campaigning roles, she has managed large and diverse coalition campaigns on the housing crisis (Business London), tackling childhood illiteracy (Save the Children), and rising UK poverty and inequality (Oxfam GB).
Mora is particularly passionate about advocating on social and environmental justice issues, and from 2019-2021 returned to uni to study a Masters of Research in Sustainable Futures at Bristol University. This explored public engagement around the climate crisis and the SDGs.
She has worked as an anthropological researcher with forest communities in Indonesia, filmed a documentary series in the Amazon, and is probably happiest when in a beautiful forest – anywhere in the world. Outside of work Mora rock climbs, practices yoga and tries to keep the plants alive in her garden.
