Kaydi

Kaydi is leading a movement for autistic young people. After struggling in multiple school placements that failed to support her neurodivergent needs, she left education at 13, feeling isolated, hopeless, and disconnected from the world. Determined to ensure that no other young person would go through the same experience, she founded Diversified at just 14 years old. By 15, she became one of the youngest autistic CEOs in the UK, building the first youth-led hub in Scotland designed entirely by autistic young people under 18.

Since then, Diversified has supported hundreds of autistic young people and their families, offering safe spaces, mentoring, and education alternatives for those who struggle to engage with mainstream schooling. Kaydi and her team, including young leaders like Alicia and Millie—who have overcome their own battles with isolation and exclusion—now mentor and empower others, proving that autistic young people are not only capable but essential in leading the change they need. With a youth panel shaping every aspect of the organisation and neurodivergent adults offering guidance, Diversified is a true example of young people transforming their own futures.
