This research was produced in the context of the Green Jobs and Young People project in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. This research is an investigation of the aspirations and barriers experienced by South African youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially women, in respect of green jobs. The Green Jobs and Young People Project was a two year-initiative that ran between 2023 and 2025.
