Restless Development is looking for a partner to implement a Gender Empowerment Programme in Dheli and Chennai slums, during one year, focusing on 3 components:
1) Financial empowerment
2) Leadership and
3) Combating gender based violence
Eligibility for applying:
- Should be a registered NGO in India with FCRA registration
- Should have proven track record of working on gender issues in the region
- The project objectives should contribute to partners’ longer-term strategic objectives and plans of the partner.
- The partner should have convening capacity, as well as advocacy skills
Time frame of the project: August 2014 and July 2015.

SOUTH AFRICA - SENIOR INVESTMENT & PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER (Africa)
Restless Development is the banner carrier for youth-led development, demonstrating from the grassroots to the global policy levels that young people can and must play a lead role in development.
As part of Restless Development’s Global Strategy 2011-2015, we are working towards a sustainable and diverse revenue model and we aim to raise 50% of financing from in-country sources. This includes bilateral and multilateral donors, national governments, partner NGOs, corporates and trusts and foundations.
The Senior Investment and Partnerships Manager (Africa) will provide sustained hands-on support and technical direction to in-country fundraising activities across our Africa Country Programmes. The role will also lead Restless Development’s new regional strategy for East and Southern Africa – this will include planning the set up of an office space in a regional hub such as Pretoria or Nairobi where the role will be based in the future.

UK - M&E Consultant for MTV SAF Programme
Restless Development’s Global Policy & Practice team, based in the UK, has been working with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation (SAF) since 2009. Over the past 5 years, Restless Development has trained and mentored over 100 of SAF’s youth-led, grassroots grantees as part of their Training and Capacity Building Programme. Together, Restless Development and SAF are seeking a consultant to continue the development of a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning framework to underpin their Training and Capacity Building programme. The framework aims to build on existing tools and processes used to assess, and track changes in, individual and organisational capacity and to better understand the contribution of the Training and Capacity Building programme.
