Aid is Being Cut, But Youth-Led Change Must Continue
The US government has cut funding for a number of our youth-led development programmes. With your support, young leaders can continue their vital work on climate justice, gender equality and democracy.
The work that we have had to stop includes:
🌍 In Uganda & Nepal, the Global Girls Creating Change project trained young women in climate leadership and entrepreneurship. That support is now gone.
🌎 In India, 15,000 young people with disabilities were accessing sexual health education and advocacy training. That opportunity has been lost.
🌍 In Zimbabwe, young leaders accessing reliable sexual and reproductive rights information are now without the support they relied on.
🌍 In Tanzania, education and job training for young people has been cut, limiting their opportunities for the future.
With your help we can continue to support and connect these young leaders.
