Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health

Role of Young People for Achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Indigenous knowledge, systems, and traditions are progressively being passed down to the next generation. This is causing a significant gap in human lives, as well as affecting the entire human ecosystem.

Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health report documents the valuable discussion from the three-day-long third National Youth Conference. It was conducted by Youth Advocacy Nepal (YAN) in partnership with government agencies, Restless Development Nepal, UN Agencies, and other organizations on the occasion of the International Youth Day (IYD) with the theme ‘Transforming Food System: Youth Innovations for Human and Planetary Health’.

The conference accumulated solid ideas for continuing advocacy initiatives and public awareness campaigns aimed at raising massive awareness among young people about the need for food system transformation.
