With 1.9 billion youth worldwide, making up a quarter of the global population, young people are not just participants—they’re a powerful force for change.
Despite being an important driving force, young people are often absent from decision making fora. They are the #MissingMajority. It’s time the world plugged into youth power.
Running alongside the UN Summit of the Future, the Youth Power Summit is a space where young people own the stage, lead conversations with people of all generations, and hold decision makers accountable. It’s where global politics, leadership, and the future of societal wellbeing are shaped by those who have the greatest stake in the future.

Organised by Fondation Botnar and Restless Development, the Youth Power Summit (21-22 September) aims to increase meaningful youth participation in global leadership, policymaking, and societal wellbeing.
A space to connect and collaborate, the summit will bring together young people, policymakers, officials, and civil society organisation (CSO) representatives to address themes such as accountability and transparency; evidence-based action; and policy, protest and political engagement.

At Restless Development, we take safeguarding seriously and work to ensure that every individual feels protected from harm, abuse, or exploitation.
Our team is trained to recognize, respond to, and prevent any safeguarding concerns that may arise during our events and online engagements.
