We know young people have the power to solve the challenges we face in our world, but they are being sidelined. We are the agency that works with young people so they can lead in solving those challenges. Whether that means supporting communities to end child marriage or prevent HIV, we work with young people to change their lives and the lives of people in their communities. Our programmes are genuinely life-changing, but can’t do any of this without talented, creative individuals at every level of our organisation.

Restless Development in Zimbabwe is currently seeking to recruit board members in a non-executive capacity with the opportunity to have a real say in our current and future operations. In return for your time, knowledge and expertise, you’ll have the chance to work alongside the Hub Director, Leadership Team and a community of Young Leaders who are driving long-term, sustainable change across Zimbabwe.

In all of our Board members we look for great interpersonal skills and a passion for international development and the role of young people in society. Beyond that, our Board members bring their experience, views and opinions from a youthful perspective to complement our current board’s skill sets.

Our new Board members will be a champion of our values and dynamic accountability. We are particularly looking for young people with ideas or expertise in one of the key priority areas set out above.

Applicants will have a commitment to youth leadership as well as youth development. We strongly welcome candidates who may have previously volunteered with Restless Development. We are looking for people with the right competencies and skills for the role, and who demonstrate the personal qualities consistent with our Values.
