In August 2016, Restless Development launched a new 15-year vision underpinned by a 5-year strategy. This marks an exciting turning point in the history of the agency which firmly establishes us as a global leader on youth-led development, as well as a champion of a paradigm shift in the international development sector which puts young people at the heart and unleashes their power to achieve real change.
Restless Development Uganda secured a number of new partnerships resulting in a large and complex donor portfolio, increased income and geographical reach.

We are currently seeking a talented Finance and Administration Officer to support an exciting youth-led advocacy, research and accountability initiative, implemented in partnership with a major development agency. The programme will promote youth-led social accountability by improving young people’s leadership, life-skills, technical knowledge on civic issues, policy, advocacy and research, so that they are better prepared to actively engage with their leaders. This will be implemented in 10 priority districts of Northern, Eastern and North Eastern Uganda.

The Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for supporting the Programme Team while at the same time undertaking some key Head office Finance and administration functions. S/he will lead on daily, weekly and monthly finance operations, provide support to finance and administration and programmes, and maintain office and administration systems and any other support as may be required from to time.

The Finance and administration Officer will be based at Restless Development’s Head office in Kampala. S/he might be required to travel in-country, including between Restless Development’s offices in Kampala and Jinja and other districts as may be required.
