ABOUT RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT
We know young people have the power to solve the challenges we face in our world, but they are being sidelined. We are the agency that works with young people so they can lead in solving those challenges. Whether that means supporting communities to end child marriage or prevent HIV, we work with young people to change their lives and the lives of people in their communities. Our programmes are genuinely life-changing, but can’t do any of this without talented, creative individuals at every level of our organisation.
ABOUT the role
From late 2018, young leaders in Sierra Leone will be supported by Restless Development to implement Saving Lives II, a programme delivered through a consortium of eight partners, led by International Rescue Committee and funded by the UK Department for International Development.
As the lead agency for community mobilisation, Restless Development will deploy complementary strategies around communication, awareness raising, and capacity building in communities nationwide. The Programme Manager will lead this exciting new programme and will head up a new team at an exciting time in Restless Development’s journey. The Programme Manager will be expected to work with colleagues across other programme teams to deliver this programme. The Programme Manager will directly support coordinators maintaining oversight and holding responsibility for programme delivery.
