Restless Development is a global agency for youth-led development. We support young people to demand and deliver a just and sustainable world for all.
The global agency is run out of ten strategic hubs in ten countries across Africa, Asia and in the UK and USA, with a wider network of partners across the world. We work to make sure young people have a voice, a living, sexual rights, and are leaders in preventing and solving the world’s challenges. In August 2016, we launched a new 15-year vision underpinned by a five-year strategy. This marks an exciting turning point in the history of the agency which firmly establishes us as a global leader on youth-led development, as well as a champion of a paradigm shift in the international development sector which puts young people at the heart and unleashes their power to achieve real change.
Restless Development’s UK Hub plays an important role in both delivering this new strategy in the UK, and in working with our other Hubs to achieve change globally. The Senior Campaigns Manager is central to this work. They will manage Restless Development’s Campaigns team, and will be responsible for overseeing all UK campaigns (including our globally respected Youth Stop AIDS Campaign); our UK network of young global citizens; and our growing number of global campaigns and coalitions (including our flagship global campaign Youth Power). The Senior Campaigns Manager will aos drive knowledge and expertise of campaigning, mobilisation, community organising and youth engagement methodologies across the organisation.
We are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of campaigning, advocacy, mobilisation and youth engagement; experience of development and leading impactful campaigns; and a commitment to our work unleashing the power of young people to lead change.
