This week dance4life Zimbabwe is taking part in an online competition to win a €25,000 donation! The competition is run by the Dutch Postcode Lottery and runs from the 12th December until 12pm 16th December! We are competing with two other organisations and whoever has the most votes will receive the donation.

Should we be lucky enough to win the donation the money will go some way to empowering more young Zimbabweans to deliver integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) programmes. HIV/AIDS still affects over 1 in 10 people in Zimbabwe and most of those contract the virus in adolescence so part of the money will go towards training health centre staff to deliver youth friendly services and lead home visits to provide psychosocial support to people living with HIV.

In addition to this the money will help us influence the adoption of safer sexual practices among young people through the delivery of HIV sessions in schools with the intention of reaching over 20,000 people, distributing thousands of condoms across the nation and leading HIV awareness-raising events.

We need you to help us by voting for us on the link below and by sharing it with your friends and family to help as get as many votes as possible. Young people can, young people do – you can make a difference so share with your friends and family and vote for dance4life Zimbabwe today.
