Feminist Action Lab : Growing Our Intergenerational Power

A gender advocacy crash course.

25 years ago the Beijing Platform for Action was launched. This shook the world and became an engine for advocacy on gender equality

The world has changed a lot since 1995 and a new generation of activists are shaping advocacy today.

How we practice advocacy has changed too, thanks to global movements like #MeToo, the Climate Strikes, Black Lives Matter and the rise of intersectional feminism as a necessary and new norm.

Learning across generations.

To achieve gender justice, we need to share power across generations and learn from the history of Beijing+25.

That’s why, Restless Development invites you to join the Feminist Action Lab: Building Our Intergenerational Power – an advocacy crash course on the tools and ideas needed for the future of gender advocacy.

Course features.

  • Video dialogues between senior and young feminists
  • Advocacy tools and activities
  • A youth-led support network to walk you through how to attend, influence and campaign  for gender equality at the Generation Equality Forum and other advocacy platforms.

Now launched!

Restless Development, with the help of feminist activists, has created an online advocacy crash course to support youth-led action on gender equality. It features video dialogues between older and younger feminists on the history of the Beijing+25 process and study guides that unpack some of the big ideas informing global feminist agendas.
