Restless Development (Zimbabwe) is a global agency for youth-led development. We have been supporting young people demand and deliver a just and sustainable world for all, since 1985. Restless Development’s approach is based on the principle that young people can develop and lead effective long-term interventions in the areas of Civic Participation/Engagement, Livelihoods, and Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH).
Restless Development is implementing the Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) in Zimbabwe − an integrated Leadership, Livelihoods, and SRHR education programme – in rural communities. This is an opportunity for young people who want to make a difference in their communities as volunteers for a period of 3 months. The placements will be in Chimanimani and Harare.
ICS is a once-in-a-lifetime volunteering opportunity open to 18 to 25 year olds. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and committed young people that want to make an impact. Our ideal volunteer is good at working with others, flexible and adaptable, positive and committed to the programme.
If you are aged 23 or above; are able to help facilitate a team of young people from Zimbabwe and the UK to work together on development projects and are looking to develop your leadership, organisation, or language skills, or gain experience in youth work or community development…then the role of ICS Team Leader may be just what you're looking for!
