Unemployment is the biggest challenge faced by young people in Zimbabwe due to the continued economic decline. Young people make up approximately 65% of the population and also form the highest number of unemployed and underemployed segment of the population. Under the Youth Employability Programme we are running a Youth Intern Recruitment and Placement Programme with the main objective of improving the employability of young people. Through this programme we are equipping young people with the practical skills needed to improve their access to gainful employment in formal and informal economies.
