Young people share a restless determination to address the problems that affect them the most. That’s where we come in.
At Restless Development, we’re proud to be the banner carrier for youth-led development, demonstrating from the grassroots to the global policy levels that young people can and must play a lead role in development. As a result, Restless Development is repeatedly cited as a model of best practice in youth-led development by the World Bank, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), UNICEF, UNAIDS and others.
Restless Development’s Campaigns team is committed to campaigning for Global Justice. We are currently running three campaigns: Youth Stop AIDS, campaigns on Climate Change, and Youth Power (a campaign for youth-led accountability of the Global Goals).
This role will focus specifically on coordinating Restless Development’s new global Youth Power campaign. Youth Power is a global campaign by Restless Development to support young people making sure the promises of the Global Goals become reality.
We are seeking a highly organised, motivated and passionate individual to lead and coordinate this new global campaign. The successful candidate will be instrumental in coordinating and connecting a global network of youth-focused and youth-led organisations, ensuring this campaign achieves results, whilst maintaining an inclusive and participatory approach.
The closing date for this position is 9am (GMT), February 16th 2016 (Tuesday). Please note we do not accept CVs or Cover Letters and will not accept applications submitted after the closing date.
