Restless Development is the lead agent of a Youth Consortium, supported by the Department for International Development (DfID) via Programme Partnership Arrangement (PPA) which includes War Child (www.warchild.org.uk) and Youth Business International (www.youthbusiness.org).
The aim of the Youth Consortium is to harness the energy, skills and participation of young people as an asset to ensure the delivery of the Global Goals, specifically in conflict-affected, fragile states and least developed countries. In working together over the past 5 years, the Consortium has produced 492 resources with 77,100 downloads from our websites. These online resources have the potential to become both an evidence pool and an ‘offer’ to the broader sector on the role of youth-led development.
As such, the Consortium is investing in the creation of a resource bank of the evidence, tools and resources produced over the period of the PPA. By creating a resource bank for DfID and broader sector, the Consortium will both share its expertise and learning as well as working to ‘prove the model’ of youth led development as a critical alternative in the development sector.
This Terms of Reference (ToR) is to design and build an online knowledge bank which will ensure that the Youth Consortium’s evidence, tools and resources are accessible to young people, partners, donors and the broader sector. Ultimately, the knowledge bank will help to maximise the use and impact of these materials.
The closing date for submisions is midnight (GMT) on Tuesday 31st May 2016. Please submit proposals to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
