Uganda - Get Up Speak Up Volunteer

Restless Development is the global agency for youth-led development that supports young people to demand and deliver a just and sustainable world for all. Our work is guided by four goals i.e. we work to make sure that young people have a voice (active citizens), realize sexual reproductive health and rights (SRH&R), are leaders in preventing and solving the world’s challenges and that they have improved Livelihoods.

Restless Development is implementing the Get up Speak out Programme (GUSO) – integrated with International Citizen Service Program (ICS). This is an integrated programme which builds on Restless Development’s youth-led model of social and behavioural change with the ultimate aim of increasing access to SRH&R information, services, livelihoods opportunities, and active participation in community development. The programme is to be implemented in rural communities of Jinja and Mayuge districts.
