Our Mabinti Tushike Hatamu (Girls Let’s Be Leaders) project (MTH) was designed to reduce the vulnerability of out of school adolescent girls and women in Iringa, Mbeya, and Dar es Salaam to HIV and AIDS, pregnancy and violence through youth-to-youth peer education, livelihoods training, capacity-building and effective referrals.
The project was a three-year pilot funded through UNICEF and implemented in partnership with TACAIDS in 3 regions in Tanzania – Dar es Salaam, Mbeya and Iringa. As a pilot, the intention was to refine the strategies and project design in order to seek additional funding from other donors at the end of the pilot, thus the funding for this project concluded in December 2015.
The successful candidate will consult to Restless Development Tanzania to collate quarterly reports, along with other project documentation, into a comprehensive, leverageable End of Project Report that includes best practices and lessons learned throughout the project.
