An impact brief of our YouthMap Internship Programme in Uganda, 2015.
Annual Evaluation, Uganda 2015.
This training guide has been developed for the YouthMap Internship Programme, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and Restless Development in Uganda. YouthMap is a four-year regional program designed to assess youth circumstances and support promising youth development programs in up to eight African countries. Through a $10 million agreement with USAID, YouthMap is implemented by IYF. In Uganda, as part of the grant agreement, the programme also receives substantial leverage funding and support from The Forward Foundation.
This handbook has been developed by Restless Development. It outlines key principles for designing and implementing a youth internship programme. We hope that it will ensure your internship programme is a success for both your company and the young professionals taking part.
