In September 2016, the United Nations gathers for its 71st General Assembly, and Restless Development, along with young people we support, are attending to make the case for unleashing the potential of young people to change the world.

What are we asking for?

Restless Development is pushing for youth-led accountability at the heart of achieving the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. To find out what this means and how we can do it, read our short briefing below or download it here

Who is going?

  • Franklin Paul Anand, who is Monitoring Evaluation and Research Manager for Restless Development India. Franklin has been invited to New York as a Women Deliver Young Leader who has been appointed a World Contraception Day Ambassador to collect and share digital stories about young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights.

What else is happening at the United Nations?

The UN is in the process of choosing its new Secretary General to replace Ban Ki-moon. Read Sophie Foreman’s blog to understand how that works, who is in the running, and why it matters.

We are the Youth Collective. If you believe in the power of young people, join our movement.
