Restless Development ran in-depth three day long consultations with the young leaders as part of the project, gathering grassroot experiences of tackling youth unemployment from across three continents.

The S4YE coalition is made up of organisations and individuals from across the private, public and third sectors, including Accenture, the World Bank, Mastercard Foundation, Plan International and USAID. It aims to provide leadership and catalyze action to increase the number of young people engaged in productive work and jobs by 2030.

Restless Development also held interviews and ran an online survey with key S4YE stakeholders, board members and partner organisations to share their experience and perspective on youth participation.

Using these inputs, a Youth Review team, made up of six young people who had all participated in the consultations, worked with Restless Development to develop recommendations on how young people could participate in the governance, partnerships and operations of the S4YE coalition.
