Restless Development to work in more Clinics in Zambia

22 Aug 14

Restless Development Zambia in partnership with BBC Media Action has implementing the youth led initiative using media and interpersonal communication for access to youth friendly SRH Services. As part of this partnership, there is an increased need to link young people to the service providers for them to access youth friendly services.

Restless Development has been traditionally working with the clinics in the communities where its school based interventions are implemented, but on local arrangement with the individual clinics. On 11th August, the Ministry of Community Development, Mother and Child Health approved the request for Restless Development Zambia to work full time in the clinics alongside the District Health Offices.

This is a huge milestone for Zambia and for the organisation globally as we get to work in the clinics to provide linkages for more young people to access youth friendly sexual and reproductive health services.
