Theresa S. Kamara lives with her grandmother in Kenema and attends the Holy Rosary Secondary School. She is in JSS 3.
When Restless Development Multisectoral Programme visited Theresa’s school to establish the School Health Club (SHC), she joined hoping to create a change in her life and that of her fellow students.
As an active member of the SHC, Theresa took the lead in organizing assembly talk messages and other sensitization activities in her school, talking to her colleagues on sexual reproductive health issues and encouraging them to take up a positive life style. She is now seen as a role model in her school. In expressing appreciation towards the programme, she requested that the programme be replicated in all schools within Sierra Leone.
