Thousands of people across the UK are getting ready to live below the line next week - 29th April - 3rd May.
They're living on £1 a day for food and drink for 5 days to get people talking about the 1.4 billion people living on less than £1 a day for all their living costs.
By taking on the challenge, you can get people thinking about young people, poverty and development.
Young people are taking on leadership roles. For example, young people have recently taken action to engage with major leaders and decision makers at the UN High Panel for the post-2015 development agenda, supported by Restless Development and other partners.
So take the challenge to remind others specifically about the 515 million 15-24 year old young people who live on less than $2 per day. That’s 515 million potential leaders.
Pick up top tips on our blog and tweet (don't forget to tag #belowtheline, @RestlessDev and @LBLUK) and facebook about your experiene and have people sponsor you and raise funds for Restless Development.
With the right guidance, young people are capable of taking a leadership role to solve the world’s biggest problems, including extreme poverty and hunger. Young people are the solution.
