Working Voices is an international Communications training organisation that helps major companies around the world build the skills of their leading staff.
Working Voices has made a strategic commitment to support philanthropic and non-profit organisations in a way that is most relevant and useful: to benefit from the skills and courses provided by the business. In this vein Working Voices selected Restless Development as one of their first partners. They were not just inspired by the crucial work Restless Development does in Africa and Asia and around the world, but by the way that the agency is about bringing skills and leadership to the current generation as a tool to tackle poverty and exclusion. A perfect fit for partnership working.
To launch the partnership, Nick Fordham, Head of Training, Working Voices Asia, delivered a four-day intense training programme for Restless Development in India last week. He covered presentation skills, body language, intonation, pitching, storytelling and communicating Restless Development’s messages and impact effectively. The highly interactive training used video coaching, voice training, hand outs and peer feedback mechanisms.
“In 10 years of my career, I have attended numerous communication workshops. Nowhere have I received such critical feedback based on video evidence. I loved every bit of this training.”
Ravi Ranganathan, Restless Development Programme Manager.
