Restless Development Zambia participate in National Careers Expo

The National Careers Expo was held between the 5th to 7th September 2012 at the New Government Complex in Lusaka. Restless Development Staff and Alumni participated in the Expo, and the event was even attended by the First Lady Dr Christine Kaseba Sata.

The Expo brought together young people from various communities, schools, colleges and universities. A large proportion of the young people who attended
were from schools in the capital, Lusaka and a few from other provinces. Some of the exhibitors included universities across Zambia, financial institutions,
ZICTA,  Airtel,  ZAMCOP, Restless Development and others.
There were more than 50 Counsellors who gave career advice and support to many young people,  some members of the Restless Development Alumni
also took part in this segment of the Expo.

The main activities during the Careers Expo included career profiling, plenary presentations and group sessions. A special activity  was arranged for  young people who had graduated, were soon to graduate and those seeking employment. This particular activity involved linking those in attendance to job opportunities and internships currently available in the Job Market. Through our exhibition booth, we reached out to a total of  1683 young people between the ages of 16 - 21 years old.
