Alumni of Restless Development have the chance to be part of Demos research on the impact of overseas volunteering!
The independent think tank and research institute Demos is conducting a research on the impact of volunteering abroad. The project looks at the UK Government's plans for creating an International Citizen Service for British young people to enable them to volunteering overseas and develop themselves at the same time. It will draw upon past research into the impact of international volunteering, and international examples of similar schemes to see what Britain can learn.
Restless Development is one of the charities that have been commissioned by the UK Government to implement the International Citizen Service pilot. We are therefore really excited to be contributing to this research and we are proud to be offering our Alumni, who have gained first-hand experience of overseas volunteering, the opportunity to take part to this research. The survey should only take about five minutes and will be completely anonymous. This is your chance to let us know your opinion and to potentially influence government policy!
