On April 25th, at 11:56 am local time, a powerful earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale struck Nepal, creating large-scale damage and causing many casualties.
According to initial estimates, over 8 million people have been affected, 2 million of which live in the 14 most critically hit districts. Many
residential buildings, world heritage sites and schools have been badly damaged.
This heart breaking situation has become an opportunity for youth to show that they are capable of making positive change and are
optimistic about their beloved country.
