Restless Development is a UK registered International Non-Governmental Organization that has been working in Nepal since 1991. Restless Development has partnered and implemented peer education, capacity building and advocacy programs in over 40 districts in Nepal. In partnership with dance4life, Restless Development Nepal is implementing Save the Date programme with strong focus on ending child marriage is Sunsari, Parsa, Dolakha, Kathmandu/ Lalitpur, Dang, Bardiya and Kailali districts.
Together with Restless Development Nepal, Free Press Unlimited and Child Help line reached with both young people and adults through comprehensive radio drama in collaboration with two Nepalese organisation Community Radio Support Centre (CRSC) and Child workers in Nepal (CWIN). As such, Restless Development seeks an consultant to: (a) conduct research to find out which topics young people want to, but struggle to talk about with their parents around child marriage and whether radio episodes can be a trigger for discussion (b) produce a report from the research which identifies the relevant topics/issues and recommendations how to tackle them with radio episodes (c) select episodes that tackle them (d) design of toolkit – prototype session plans and develop a facilitation guide (co-creation process with young facilitators, parents and students) (e) pilot the toolkit, test and report (f) Revise toolkit incorporating feedback and produce final toolkit to roll out
