Nepal - Consultant for defining and developing a guideline to monitor learning outcomes in education system for SAMBHAV

Restless Development is a UK registered International Non-Governmental Organization that has been working in Nepal since 1991. To date Restless Development has partnered and implemented peer education, capacity building and advocacy programs in over 40 districts in Nepal.
In partnership with UNICEF, Restless Development Nepal will be implementing a three year program “SAMBHAV” with an aim stating “girls and boys, particularly from marginalized communities, are supported to transition into and remain in school, improve their learning, and become empowered members of their communities.” The working area of this program is Bajura, Achham, Doti, Mugu, Kalikot, Parsa, Rautahat, Mahottari, Dhanusha and Saptari districts of Nepal.
As such, Restless Development seeks an education expert to provide consultancy on i) developing and defining a system to monitor the learning outcomes, including the assessment tools in order to monitor the project progress, and ii) designing a mechanism to track the transition of school children from primary school to secondary school.
