Livelihoods resources on ICT

This programme focuses on expanding Educational and Livelihood resources in the Terai with Specific focus on ICT and youth.

The collaboration between Restless Development and READ is a unique project, being the first time we are partnering with another INGO.

The project aims to improve the education and opportunities offered to 3,000 youths through the provision of lifeskills training, sports clubs, academic career support and health awareness.

It also aims to provide at least a 100 youths with in-depth vocational skills training and an additional 175 with more general livelihood skill training.

Ultimately we aim to create a sustainable structure for youth engagement. This will be achieved through the formation of 11 youth leadership clubs focusing on the needs of youths throughout these communities. This collaboration with READ funded by Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), is a multiyear project that will start in 2014 and will finish in 2017.
