World leaders made a promise in the Global Goals, to achieve gender equality by 2030.

Young people are standing together to make it happen. They are showing the world that they will not put up with women being subjected to violence, being discriminated against, told what they can do with their bodies, or locked out of making decisions.

The promise of a better world is not possible without gender equality - or the young people making sure we keep that promise. Without them, the Global Goals will fail.

This International Women's Day we want you to join them.

Read the stories of five inspiring young women achieving Global Goal 5 and holding leaders to account on their promise.

Share their stories to show that young women are already leading action to achieve gender equality and the Global Goals!
