Currently, 20 young leaders from youth-led organisations are leading networks of Accountability Advocates across Africa and Europe to hold leaders to account on the Global Goals promise.
The Accountability Advocates project, as part of Restless Development's Big Idea programme, is equipping young leaders with the technical skills needed to monitor the implementation of the Global Goals. Each national Accountability Advocates network is collecting and generating data to seek social accountability on key issues for their local context and developing a national accountability framework to demand implementation.
Want to become an Accountability Advocate?
The success of the Global Goals will be in their national implementation and we need young people from around the world monitoring and tracking their government’s progress towards them. Interested? You can equip yourself with the skills you need to hold your governments accountable by using our Accountability in Action toolkit.
